How trade-in works.

Quick valuation.
Complete the simple trade-in request form to receive an estimated trade-in valuation for your used tech. Our education specialists will show you how to back up your data on Apple devices and guide you through the process for managed Apple devices.

Safe packaging.
Storage containers and packaging are supplied for bulk trade-ins to ensure safe transit. Packing is undertaken with minimal disruption to your institution.

Secure collection.
Collection is completed by fully trained and security vetted IT disposal experts. Collection is available throughout Ireland at no additional cost.2

Instant credit.
Devices are assessed upon receipt to determine the actual final trade-in offer. This trade-in value is instantly applied as credit towards new Apple products. If your tech is not eligible for credit, we’ll recycle it for free.

Our device retirement partner provides a robust, process-led approach to data destruction which guarantees secure certified data destruction and promotes reuse over recycling, helping your institution reduce carbon emissions.
Select Trade-in programme is a service provided to Select customers by Select's selected trade-in partners. Trade-in transactions conducted with customers are solely the responsibility of Select’s selected trade-in partner and the customer. Terms and conditions apply.
To ensure your devices are eligible for trade-in please ensure DEP registration is removed, device is signed out of iCloud, and FMI has been deactivated, device powers up and functions normally, device display is in good condition, device does not have any engraving/personalisation, device enclosure is in good condition, device has no obvious signs of liquid contact, device keys buttons or trackpad are in good working condition where applicable, device power adapter is supplied.
- We can only accept Apple devices from students and staff.
- On-site collection is not available for single devices.
